Jeremy grew up in Long Island, New York in a musical family. He attended the Interlochen
Arts Academy where he studied percussion with Gerald Hartwig. During
this period, he discovered and experimented with classical, rock, jazz
and fusion music as a drummer.

After Interlochen, he moved to Atlantic City, where he became a drummer in the show band circuit. During this time, he played with the likes of Toni Costa,
Ronnie Limar and Diana Drake. After 7 years of of playing 6 nights
a week, he returned to study music; focusing on percussion. During his time at USM Music School, he played drums
with "jazzers" Bill
Street, and Frank Foster. Then, after playing music
full-time for most of his life, he decided to "take a break from the hectic life of a musician", and moved to Florida. But he ended right back into the music scene; playing
in his father's jazz trio! Some
break.

While in Florida playing drums, there was also that "chance meeting" with a woman named "Nancy"; who ultimately became his
wife. Interestingly, Nancy was from Portland, Maine, which is what ultimately
brought Jeremy back to the northeastern U.S. This is when he also had an "epiphany", and decided to study the bass guitar; playing in the intense music scene
of the northeastern United States. Jeremy also is a drum and percussion instructor. |
